Before any works can begin, a thorough asbestos survey is carried out. Samples of materials are taken from various locations within the building to determine the quantity and type of asbestos materials present.
This survey is essential so that safe methods of working can be developed when removing the asbestos materials. The asbestos materials inside the building will be removed from the building in strict accordance with the Asbestos at Work Regulations and under notification to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
All asbestos containing materials are safely removed from site in sealed bags and special containers and taken to a secure licensed waste facility for disposal.
